BYC II Completes Double Signings. Barrack Young Controller Football club can confirm the signing of two additional players to strengthen the team for the on-going 2020/2021 Orange Sponsor Second Division league.
The two are Goalkeeper Junior Yeaney from Nimba Kwado and Divine Teah from Massa Football Academy.
Goalkeeper Junior Yeaney joined the Go Blue Boys from Nimba Kwado on loan for the rest of the season.
He replaces Able Ani who contract was terminated for violating the club’s code of conduct.
Young Yeaney helped Nimba County reach the quarter-final of the 2020/2021 National County Sports Meet and conceded two goals in the competition as they were defeated by beaten finalist Montserrado County.
Divine Teah will continue his career at the defending Champions for the rest of the season and rejoin his former Nimba County teammate Yeaney.
The wonder kid from Massa Academy has been monitor by the Blues for months and finally, both clubs agreed on Thursday, March 18, 2021, for the Lone Star Under 17 player to end the second phase of the League with BYC II.
Teah a creative midfielder is expected to strengthen the team midfield with his passing ability and scoring.
BYC II head coach Samuel Sumo said he is impressed with the player’s addition and hopeful his team can now challenge for the championship.
“Divine is a very young and talented player and I believe in his ability which will help us in our quest for the title,” Sumo said. According to Coach Sumo, all of the players at BYC II were happy for the inclusion of Divine.
Speaking about Yeaney; Sumo said the kid Is brave and I think he is at the right club after a very impressive County meet.
