Press Statement for Immediate Release – January 15, 2022
CACC to thoroughly investigate the Ph.D. Credential of UL’s Associate Professor DrLester Zomatic Tenny.
Since 2017 to date, there have been lingering concerns from the public about the legitimacy or validity of the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree that DrLester Zomatic Tenny said he obtained from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
Through a thorough and independent investigation, the Campaigners for Academic Crimes Court (CACC) is committed to bringing this matter to final closure. We have already managed to establish contact with credible sources at the Obafemi Awolowo University and an official dispatch containing our concerns will be sent on Monday.
This investigation may take a few weeks or even a few months but we can assure you that we will get at the bottom of it as we did in the case of Representative Alex C. Grant of Grand Gedeh County.
As an independent and a non-political academic advocacy group and the lead campaigner for Academic Crimes Court in Liberia, we will do due diligence to DrLester Zomatic Tenny as we did on Samora Wolokolie, Bhofal Chambers, Alton Kesselly, Arthur Johnson, Bill Gayflor, Stephen Saah Lendeh, and dozens of other academic fraudsters.
There will be no stone left unturned. Our loyalty is to Liberia alone and no one else. Our country is down today because of phony degrees and fake credentials. They are too many and they are everywhere. They are occupying positions that people with legitimate credentials should be occupying.
That’s why productivity both in the public and private sectors is at an all-time low.
Henceforth, there will be no foothold for academic fraudsters. We will not only pursue their so-called degrees but we will also purge them. Enough of this FRAUD. CACC will not and cannot allow this to continue. It has to STOP now.
After our investigation, we will publicly release our findings. The public can be assured that the whole truth about DrLester Tenny’s Ph.D. in Economics will be made known very soon.
May God salvage Liberia from academic malfeasance.
