HOUSE CITES GSA BOSS MARY BROH

Capitol Hill-December 3, 2021-WTVNEWS: The Plenary of the House of Representatives Thursday December 2, 2021, voted unanimously to cite General Services Agency Boss Mary Broh over complaint of using her authority to flog and incarcerate peaceful citizens.

Plenary’s decision was triggered by a Communication from Montserrado County District 7, Representative Solomon C. George. Hon. George in his Communication accused Madam Broh of using her authority to flog and incarcerate peaceful citizens in his District. West point and waterside, the commercial point in central monrovia are part of District 7.

Hon. George further craved Plenary’s indulgence to cite Hon. Broh to further explain her alleged act against peaceful citizens.

Hon. Broh is expected to appear next Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11am in the House of Representatives’ Chambers.

Recently, Madam Mary T. Broh was appointed to the Citizens’Engagement Board as part of the Celebration of the Bicentennial marking 200years of freedom.

As part of her appointment, Madam Broh is clothed with the authority of giving Monrovia a clean and green look ahead of the festive season; as well as the upcoming 2022 Bicentennial program.

Recently, she visited several parts of Monrovia believed to be hot zones of dirt and non-compliance with city ordinances.

Prior to her appointment as Director General of the General Services Agency (GSA), Madam Broh served as Mayor of the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC). She ensure that the first Saturday of every month between 7-10am is observed as cleaning up period, by which no business (es) should be open until after 10am. That city ordinance is currently being adhere to.
