Hundreds of citizens along with Country Devil from Lofa County blocked the St. Paul Bridge demanding the Certification of the Senator-Elect Hon. Samukai
Reports coming in say Scores of Citizens in Lofa County including Supporters of Hon. Brownie J. SAMUKAI has blocked the Bridge Linking Bong & Lofa Counties, Demanding the Certification of the Senator-Elect Hon. SAMUKAI.
According to the report, the Citizens have brought out Country Devil’s and or Traditional Masks indicating a no turning back for the process
The Certification of Hon. Samukai has been pending due to the conclusion of a case involving Misappropriation of former soldiers’ money by Hon. Samukai and others.
Court documents indicate that Hon. Samukai has paid a percentage of the money but not equivalent to the requested amount.
Hon. Samukai was charged with two others from the Ministry of Defense.
Lofa County runs out of patience over the certification of Senator-Elect Brownie Samukai.
The report says hundreds of citizens along with Country Devil from Lofa County blocked the St. Paul River bridge entry preventing commuters.
Mr. Samukai since being elected in 2020 as Senator of Lofa, he is yet to taste Capital Building due to NEC’s refusal to certificate him.
