LFA: Liberia Football Association (LFA) President Mustapha Raji has reiterated the FA’s desire to develop football at all levels.

Raji says his administration will invest in football’s development from the grassroots.

Since their election in April 2018, Raji-led administration has held Heroes’ Cup, Mutamu Cup and a seven-a-side youth tournaments and is organizing a national youth domestic league for boys and girls at under-15 and under-17.

Raji’s comments come as Liberia prepare to participate in an invitational under-16 tournament for boys, which will feature hosts Tanzania, Liberia, Malawi and Zambia from 10-16 March.

“As part of our promise to Liberians, we remain committed to develop football at all levels and to regain a sustained international presence.

“Thanks to all of the kids, who participated in the screening process and congratulation to the 20 players selected for the under-16 tournament for boys in Tanzania. We wish them all the best of luck ahead of their departure,” Raji told LFA media.

The delegation will leave Monrovia on board a Kenya airway at 15:10 GMT (3:10PM Liberian time) on Friday.
