Liberia National Team Head Coach Peter James Butler, former Coach of Botswana Contract is expected to expire before or at the end of August 2020.
The Liberia Football Association (L.F.A) appointed Englishman James Peter Butler as the new Head Coach of the National team of Liberia, replacing former Lonestar defender, Thomas Kojo.
Liberia Football President Mustapha Raji signed the agreement for Butler to take over the national football team. Monrovia – Englishman, Peter James Butler who was been confirmed as the permanent coach of the senior national team of Liberia. Butler has signed a one year contract with the Liberia Football Association with the option to extend based on his performance and also with a mandate to qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and 2022 World Cup.

However, Coach Butler Has acquired Two Wins which include a 3-1 Home Win against its neighboring country Sierra Leone In the World Cup Qualifiers First Round and a 1-0 Win Over Chad in the AFCONQ-Preliminary Round Home as well.
Additionally, a 0-0 Draw with his Previous Coaching Side Botswana in an Away Fixture, and was unfortunately Defeated three times, this is; a 1-0, Match from Sierra Leone in a Word Cup Qualifiers, 1 – 0 lost against Chad in the African Cup of National Qualifiers – Preliminary And also a 1- 0 lost against Egypt in the International Friendly Respectively
Should the Liberia Football Association extend Coach Butler Contract which is expected to expires later in August 2020 Or should they Allow Him to leave taken into consideration with the result from the six (6) matches played since taking over as Liberia National Team Head Coach?
