Liberty Party Embattled Chairman, Musa Hassan Bility has filed a One Million United States Dollars Lawsuit Against Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon on allegation of Defamation of character.
Making the disclosure on behalf of Mr. Bility, his lawyer, Cllr. Arthur Johnson said his law firm, The Consortium of Practitioner Inc. filed an action of damages for wrong, Libel, and Slander by attachment against the opposition senator. Cllr. Johnson quoting his client, Mr. Bility, alleged that the Montserrado County Senator called him a “criminal and Fraudster”.
He also alleged that Senator Dillon accused him of altering the Liberty Party constitution. According to Cllr. Johnson, between December 2021 and January 2022, Mr. Dillon allegedly defamed, Stigmatized, Tarnished, and Degraded the reputation of his client Mr. Musa Hassan Bility by saying “Musa is a Criminal and I can prove it”.
Meanwhile, Senator Dillon in response to the lawsuit, posted on his Facebook page saying “No one is above the law, and no one should be above the law. And as one that respects the Law; I will submit to and before the Law.
