Margibi County Begins Training Ahead County Meet 2021-2022
The technical team of Margibi County has officially started training players to feature for the county in the pending 2021-2022 National County Sports Meet .
The county’s reappointed Head Coach, Warmann Yeafadolee, and his team of technicians early Monday, November 15, 2021, officially initiated training at the Nancy Doe Stadium in Kakata, Margibi County.
Players dominating the training are mainly members of the squad that guided Margibi County to the Third Place Trophy in the last edition of the National County Sports Meet.
Other players joining the training are players who performed exceptionally well during the just-ended Districts’ League in the county .
Coach Wall and his team in consultation with the MSA and county authorities have announced that there will be justification.
According to him, last seasons’ football team combined with a few performing players from the Districts League can give Margibi County the best cream of players to bring the football championship to Kakata, Margibi County .
The Margibi County Football Coach has disclosed that 95 % of last season’s players have all returned to the county for the 2021-2022 edition of the National County Sports Meet.
Meanwhile, authorities of the county through the MSA, Chairman Blatey Williams, have provided a tentative camp to host the boys in Kakata, Margibi County .
It’s on record that Margibi County beat Grand Kru County 4-1 in the Third Place Match at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex last season.
Our prolific Winger/Midfielder Aaron Goll scored a hat-trick in that match despite coming from the bench.
This season, we’re the official host of the National County Sports Meet, which is set to kick off on December 11, 2021, in Kakata.
We’re hosting Group A members, including Montserrado, Grand Bassa, and River Gee Counties.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the MSA has called on all Margibians to visit the practice ground and motivate the boys through whatever means.
