Michael Blackson Pays a Courtesy Visit to Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson T. Koijee


(Monrovia, Liberia): For the first time, Michael Blackson, a renowned actor, and comedian, on Monday, 27th December 2021 paid a courtesy visit to Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson T. Koijee at his City Hall’s office in Monrovia.


Mayor Koijee welcomed Mr. Blackson and thanked him for the visit. They had a close conversation that touched down on the historicity of the city of Monrovia, Blackson’s visit to Liberia, and closed observation about the state relative to children’s education.


Michael Blackson is a renowned actor and comedian who relocated from Ghana to the United States of America when he was a teenager. He started doing comedy as a teenager and has now established his name as a successful comedian and also an actor after appearing in multiple movies and doing comedy tours. Michael Blackson attends the Soul Train Awards at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is notably one of the funniest comedians in existence. After relocating to the US, he did not have an idea of what to do until a friend encouraged him to try stand-up comedy. The actor was born on 28th November 1974 in Ghana. He is 48 years old as of the year 2020. In 1987 he moved to America from Ghana with his parents. He was trying to start his comedy gigs in 1992 in small local clubs in Philadelphia.


Mayor Koijee used the time to take Mr. Blackson through the Monrovia City Hall’s facilities.
