PROTESTORS BLOCK MONROVIA-BUCHANAN HIGHWAY, DEMAND LIVING BODY OF MISSING MARK G. SMITH IN BASSA

GRAND BASSA, LIBERIA- Angry demonstrators on has set up road blocks and preventing vehicles from entering and leaving Buchanan, in reaction to the missing of a thirty-five year old man identified as Mark G. Smith .

The protesters blocked the Monrovia -Buchanan Highway in District One, Grand Bassa .

The protesters came out as a result of a 35-year-old man, identified as Mark G. Smith has been reported missing for several days now, following a quest to get his fishing net left on the river .

The incident occurred on Monday, June 6, 2022 in Gaye Town, District one, Grand Bassa County.

According to family sources , “ Mark G. Smith left Gor’s Town with his wife and move to Gaye Town to burn coal weeks ago”.

They mentioned that the missing man allegedly left his wife behind and decided to check on their fishing net left on the water something that led to his alleged disappearance.

The protestors feared that the missing man might have been sacrificed for ritualistic purposes.

They told Ablee-Jay Media District One Correspondent Christmas Kennedy that there will be no rest until Mr. Smith is found, either dead or alive.
