Senator Dillon denied Entry to the VIP stand of the SKD stadium

A video potage scene circulating social media displaying what is termed as gross disrespect to Montserrado County Senator Darius Dillion by Executive Protection Services (EPS) has drawn the public attention.

Sen. Abe Darius Dillon

Sen. Dillion was allegedly barred from entering the field due to what EPS officers termed as a protocol of no entry after the Presidential detail entry.

Dillion was elected recently during the 2020 Senatorial Elections and as a public Official, access to public facilities amid the Presidential entry may value no excuse as he is an official of Government.

The scuffle with State Security on the entry of the Senator to the Samuel Kanyon Doe sports complex grew tensional as Dillion bodyguards were bundled, assaulted, and injured.

Our source at the scene indicated that the EPS officer is known as Jerry Lekpeyee, who lives behind Bonty Pharmacy, ERA supermarket in the Rehab community was seen choking and assaulting the Senator Security.

The Lawmaker was seen and heard speaking loudly in a video, making inquiries as to why he was denied entry to the field but there were no answers as EPS officers were going about their duties.

Sen. Dillion, like many other statesmen, had gone to throw support behind his County, Montserrado in the final National County sports Meet with Lofa County.

Moments after the incident, The Senator posted on his Official Facebook page that the EPS officer’s behavior of attacking him and his securities was unruly and unacceptable.

“Pres. Weah’s EPS continues to disrespect and target me. This disrespect has gone beyond. Even with a VIP ticket clearly displayed, I was embarrassed, refused, and blocked from entering the SKD today in the presence of the EPS Director and other state security officers. My personal security guard was harassed, assaulted, and injured” Senator wrote on his official Facebook page.

Dillon added that this is the fifth time he has been attacked by officers of the Executive Protection Service of President George Weah.

The Montserrado County Senator noted that he had to leave the stadium without entering the field to watch the grand final of the National County between Montserrado and Lofa Counties due to assaults mitted against him.
