Sons and Daughters of Grand Gedeh County came to the National Headquarters of ANC and condemned the uncouth act of violence against CPP’s & ANC Political Leader Mr. Cummings and Hon. Kolubah – August 11, 2020.
On yesterday, August 11, 2020, sons and daughters of Grand Gedeh County through the Dehkontee Artists Theatre, Inc (DATI) Kukatonon Peace Project in Liberia came to the National Headquarters of ANC and condemned the uncouth act of violence against CPP’s & ANC Political Leader Mr. Cummings and Hon. Kolubah; which is assumed by available evidence that it was orchestrated by the County’s Superintendent KAI FARLEY, a former Rebel General who admitted of eating human flesh doing the civil war in Liberia.
It was a fascinating moment when these illustrious citizens of Grand Gedeh County apologized for the senseless act paid Youths which has embarrassed their County.
The group presented the traditional offering of KOLA-NUT & PEPPER, POWDER & LIVING SHEEP to the CPP Political Leader and Hon. Kolubah as a symbol of genuine peace, hospitality & love and emphasized that the Opposition Leaders should at anytime visit G. Gedeh County and spend at much time as they wish there. They noted that Hon. Kolubah married a daughter of G. Gedeh and therefore the County is his home.
In furtherance, Mr. Cummings was also appreciated for his contribution in developing our country and stance in maintaining the peace.
In response, the ANC Political Leader congratulated the effort of Grand Gedeans under the DATI Peace Project for reaching out in the spirit of unifying Liberia and made it clear that he doesn’t attribute what occurred to the people of Grand Gedeh County, but rather an orchestrated violence by the County’s Superintendent; instigating few innocent Young People to perpetrate violence. He said the people of Grand Gedeh are good and peace-loving and made known that he’s planning another trip along with the vocal Montserrado County District #10 Lawmaker in that part of Southeastern Liberia, and will even spend longer time than the previous.
