Split within the NPP !!!
Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor has again been elected on the white ballot as Standard Bearer of the National Patriotic Party of Liberia.
At the same time, James Biney has been replaced by Stanley kparkillen as Chairman of the NPP.
Chairman Biney and Standard Bearer Jewel Howard Taylor have both been at each other throats over who has the authority over the NPP.
Meanwhile, NPP National Secretary General Andrew Peters has termed the election of Madam Howard Taylor and other officials as illegal.
According to him, Madam Jewel Howard Taylor has no legal authority to take the NPP to a convention, adding that said authority is inherent in the party’s National Chairman James Biney.
