Total-Liberia Filling Station Rescued from Explosion
Employees of TOTAL Liberia Filling Station in Duport Road alongside others today were successful in averting what would have been disastrous for the leading petroleum dealer and people found within that vicinity.
Reports say a privately owned vehicle had gone to the filling station for refueling, but the supervisor of the facility noticed the car was smoking, suggesting potential explosion. Upon noticing that, the supervisor and fuel attendants hurriedly pushed the vehicle out of the station to avoid blazing.
The rescuers are seen in a video fighting not only to save the car from burning, but to avoid possible explosion which could lead to the loss of lives and property.
Monkonjay Princess Somah, a TOTAL minimart worker, who witnessed the scene, said it was by the grace of God that she and other employees of the filling station survived.
